
I love to think out of the box...how 'bout you...

This is an old dresser that had plenty of charm, but...
it wasn't selling, soooo...
cut it down and make a bench out of it!

Painting it black was a way of hiding the drill holes from
making it secure . I purposely have not put the poly
finish on it, 'cause it looks more primitive/rustic...

The back is painted too so it can sit away from the wall if need be...

Wow! What a great piece... perfect for changing your shoes, and it even has storage! I would never have thought to cut down a dresser that way. I'm impressed!!

This is a great idea! I am always looking for ways sto refashion old furniture. I collect junk of all kinds and "remake" it.
